A Tile Patch For the Green Patch

So the mosaic making has begun

and to get a bit of practice we have been
making very simple, geometric squares.

If you would like to make a tile patch
for the Green Patch then Carole will
be in or near The Mollie on Tues 18th or
Thurs 20th between 1.00pm and 3.00pm

Let us know if you'll be joining us!

Here is lovely local resident Sue modelling our
View From Here information card.

If you would like to see the patches so far follow the link

The Mollie

Our new project has a new base - a rather lovely survivor from the late 80's, a caravan we are calling The Mollie. Project volunteer and long time Back To Books member Margot Norris was given the task of finding a caravan that might work well as the mosaicing space on The Green Patch and has been named in honour of Margot's intrepid, caravanning mother, the much loved, much missed Mollie Scorgie. The Mollie has ended her roadworthy days and is now nestled in a new home on the Green Patch!

Trying the space out for size

This will be our view, which will change with the seasons

Carole Miles and Phiona Richards

have been let loose with paint and stencils

We have a table and we're poised for a power cable!
What a great space for our new venture!
